Aik Keong Tan
Chief Executive Officer

AK spent more than a decade in Standard Chartered Singapore (SCB) plying his trade in ASEAN corporate finance (SG, PH, TH, MY). He advised, structured and executed numerous transactions for large conglomerates and private equity funds including M&A, debt and complex structured financing, tapping the equity and other capital markets. After leaving SCB, AK has been active in the Asian private markets, making long term investments in growth companies. AK graduated with an honours in Bachelor of Commerce from University of Sydney

​Aik Chuan Tan

AC's experience in Asia Equities was gained through his career in CLSA with his last post being Head of Equity Research Malaysia. An award winning analyst, his industry coverage included Infra, Healthcare, Energy, Petrochemicals, CPO, HK/China Mining and country/macro coverage of Malaysia and Mongolia. Notable experience prior to CLSA include Structured Finance and Syndications at CIMB Singapore covering the Asian debt markets with deal experience in HK, ID, MY, SG. He is a Master of Commerce honours graduate from University of Sydney.

Baldesh Singh
Director - Investments

Baldesh brings over 20 years of investments, financial operations and M&A integration experience across various roles which are vital to ensure portfolio performance and risk management. Some notable roles he has undertaken include Head of Strategy for Kencana Capital, EVP in the office of the Vice Chairman for SapuraKencana Petroleum, and CFO & Head of Strategy for Liannex Corporation. Most recently, he was the ED & COO of AwanBiru Technology, and ED & COO of Eduspec Holdings prior to that. Baldesh is also a CIMA member.

Danny Goh
Director - Equities

Danny is a respected voice of the ASEAN Equities market with over 30 years experience in the region. Through his 24-year career at Credit Suisse, where he was last a Managing Director, his coverage included roles such as the Head of Malaysian Equities, Co-head of ASEAN Research and ASEAN Financials Sector Head. Danny brings a wealth of fundamental market experience having been involved in various IPOs as well as company research coverage across multi sectors in the region. He is a Masters of Commerce graduate from the University of Melbourne.

Joseph Wat
Portfolio Manager - Equities

Joe is an exceptionally experienced investor in Asia with 30 years spent running various equity strategies in Asia. Largely a value-based investor, Joe spent 16 years as Head of Asia ex Japan Equities at Atlantis Investment Management with his last stint being CEO of Singapore. Other funds Joe has worked at include Deutsche Asset Management and Invesco. Joe graduated with Honours in Bachelor of Accounting from the National University of Singapore.

Yoong Hean Lai
Senior Associate

Yoong Hean was previously with SK Inc. for 4 years where he covered tech investments in ASEAN. He started his career in Assurance at PwC Malaysia in 2012 before delving into M&A and investments at Usaha Tegas, Pantai Holdings and Plato Capital where he was exposed to a wide range of industries such as Technology, Healthcare and Real Estate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting with First Class Honours from Oxford Brookes University and is a CFA charterholder.
